  6. quarterback at the University of Notre Dame, 
  7. he won the Heisman Trophy in 1956. As a 
  8. halfback for the Green Bay Packers, he 
  9. sparked the Pack to NFL Championships in 
  10. 1961, 1962, and 1965.

  12. Paul excelled at running, passing, and 
  13. kicking. He led the Packers in scoring for five
  14. seasons and the NFL for three (1959 to 
  15. 1961). In 1960, Paul scored 176 points on 15
  16. touchdowns, 15 field goals, and 41 extra
  17. points. That remains an NFL season 
  18. record. In 1961, Paul was in the army 
  19. but played for the Packers on weekend
  20.
